After the elevator surfaces are done, the rudder surfaces are next. The vertical stab comprises parts R1, R2, R8, and a lamination of a piece of 2mm x 6mm spruce stick. Inside the box is a piece of spruce approximately 120mm long. This is cut in half, and the two pieces laminated together to form the rudder post.
